Olivia Davis is a Brooklyn based artist who’s body of work experiments with the balance of traditional painting mediums and modern digital instruments. Her art strongly reflects the experience of entering adulthood in the midst of a world wide shutdown, honoring community with the power of individual expression and celebration. The use of vibrant colors and curved lines in her work are playful and inviting, with the ultimate intention of creating a safe space for all.
Olivia is most known for her annual Queer Book series which first debuted in 2020. She was originally inspired to create this series to find closure in the midst of the Covid-19 shutdown, as she ended her scholastic career. Her goal in this ongoing project is to embrace the Queer Community and to create a safe learning environment that allows people to feel seen and see themselves in others.
